On Thursday morning, Kairi woke up with a fever of 104.5 degrees. Tyler and I were so worried. We scheduled her an appointment at Wee Care pediatrics. Fortunately, they had an opening at 8:20 (20 minutes after I got off the phone with them). Before we had left the house, she threw up on herself and myself. That made me worry even more. As soon as we got there, we checked in and then were called back almost immediately. They checked her weight and temperature. She weighs 14 lbs and 11 oz now. Her temperate went down to 101 degrees. It was such a relief to hear that. The doctor checked her lungs and other organs and then her ears. After checking her ear, he said that she had a pretty bad ear infection. Kairi is taking amoxicillin right now. Four more days of taking that and she should be good. She has been handling her ear infection so well. Even being in so much pain, her cry is still very quiet! I am so grateful to have such a well-tempered child. I sure do love her!

I just recently found out that my computer needs a new hard drive. I am sending my computer in tomorrow. I am not sure how long the repair is going to take. I know that it’s going to be at least a week. I’ll update again as soon as I can.

My body aches On the flipside, I ordered Mario Party 5 on Amazon.come yesterday! Wahoo!

…died today because of a life-threatening blood clot. I am so so soooo sad right now. Death is something I have had to deal with until now. This is just terrible. I want to give Radine, Aunt Martha, and Uncle Dennis a BIG hug right now. I can’t imagine how they are feeling right now

I meant to blog a week ago. My bad. Anyhoo. My 21st birthday was on the 21st. I had a great birthday. Some of my friends and family came over. Radine bought me a hair straightener which I am ecstatic about. I have been wanting one for months. I got these delicious chocolate mushrooms (click link for image) from Julianne and Krys. My mom bought me clothes and boots, my oldest sister gave me a gift card to Kohl’s, my Auntie Stela gave me fuzzy cupcake pajama pants, and my little sister got me The Secret Life of an American Teenager – Season 1. Tyler cooked yakisoba for me It was delicious. Oh, and I bought Tyler two cans of beer from the gas station.

Moving on. I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know I did. I got a lot of nice things which I am too lazy to name right now. I went to a Christmas party at my Auntie Luz’s house on Christmas Eve. I had a lot fun. My Auntie Fe, Uncle Carl, and my cousins Miranda and Charlie flew in from Texas. It was really nice seeing them. It had been years since I saw them last. My cousins have gotten soooo big! I can’t wait to see them again. New Year’s Even is tomorrow. There’s a party at Tin’s house. It should be a ton of fun. I’ll update again tomorrow.

I finally finished my Tumblr layout There’s a few minor things I want to change, but I am going to do that later.

There’s an internal error in Ubuntu. Laaaaaame. I have to wait for Tyler to get home so he can fix it. I am stuck using Windows until Ubuntu is fixed. I really don’t like Windows. At least I have cable TV and video games! Although, I should probably clean the house and exercise first.

I have been sleeping so well lately. Kairi will wake me up around 9 to eat. After she is fed, she falls right back asleep. It’s so nice. She hasn’t started doing that until last week.

It started snowing today. I love the snow, but hate driving in it, especially, in my mom’s piece of crap car. Anyways. I had a pretty eventful day. I woke up, ate a pot pie, played COD4, went to Grounds For Coffee/Wisebird Bookery, stopped by Apple Bee’s to get money from Ashley, dropped Tyler off, met Julianne and her family at Tuesday Morning, picked Tyler up, drove to Salt Lake, went to a Christmas Party at Diamond Lil’s, and am now home. I enjoyed the coffee shop. Kairi got to see Santa for the first time. I was only able to take a few pictures before Kairi started pouting. Before we left, Santa gave her a present. As soon as we got home, Tyler stuck the present underneath the tree. Today was the first time I had been to Tuesday Morning. It’s a neat store. I love how all the items are priced low. I wish I had money. I definitely would have bought a few things. Diamond Lil’s was nice. The food was good. I had prime rib which I thought was barbecue ribs or something of that sort. I could not have been more wrong. They had a karaoke machine there. It was fun watching/hearing people sing. Santa was there. A different one of course. This one had real hair. Haha. I took some pictures with Kairi and him. She cried almost immediately Maybe next year, she’ll smile for Santa. Here is to hoping. I sure am glad to be home. I did not enjoy driving in the cold weather.
